Job Description

As a Horticultural Advisor, you will act as an ambassador for our garden centre. Your mission will be to welcome customers, guide them toward the right products, and provide tailored advice for their landscaping, planting, and garden maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and advise customers in-store
• Answer questions about plants (annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, conifers, indoor plants, etc.)
• Recommend solutions based on soil, sunlight, and customer needs
• Maintain the department: watering, cleaning, and merchandising products
• Restock shelves and label products
• Participate in receiving and placing incoming merchandise
• Provide courteous, professional, and personalized customer service

Profile

• Passion for horticulture and gardening
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable communicating and advising customers
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks
• Team spirit and positive attitude

Requirements

• Experience in a garden centre or horticulture (an asset)
• Horticulture training (an asset)
• Daytime and weekend availability (seasonal)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
