A new lawn requires a significant amount of water, approximately 4 cm per week. Requirements vary depending on the season (summer vs. fall). In some areas, a watering permit may be required. At the time of purchase, we will advise you on proper watering to ensure successful rooting.
How long should I wait before walking on new sod?
We generally recommend avoiding heavy foot traffic for about 10 to 12 days to allow proper rooting.
